This quiz is an expansion on one that appeared in the July 2007 issue of the Raleigh Coin Club Newsletter. Subsequent issues gave some of the answers and much more detail. The United States Mint's "50 State Quarters ®" (1999 - 2008) circulating commemorative quarter series commonly referred to as the Statehood Quarters Issue has many interesting designs. Now that we are past the end of the state quarter program it might be interesting to see how close people have been paying attention to the designs.
